Can I say something?

Not too much has been going on this week…

We’re going to be doing group presentations in Film class at the end of the month, and my group is discussing ‘film genre’…we have to work with the group doing ’star image’ to pick a movie we both can work with (so we don’t have to spend time showing one movie for each group)…we were throwing a bunch of ideas around before we realized that our presentation date is Hallowe’en…I said, “Pick a horror movie that we all like”…Silence of the Lambs it was!…so we’ll get to talk about the psychological thriller genre, and I think they are going to talk about Jodie Foster…it was weird how they shot down my ideas of doing an older movie, because I don’t think that they understood ’star image’ as being more than gossip and someone’s personal life…I suggested Psycho, because Hitchcock didn’t really take Janet Leigh’s star image into account…or maybe he did!!

I promised a while back that I would post my collage from my Media Tech class (that’s the one where we’re “learning” PhotoShop)…well, here it is, in all its minimalist glory:

Don't it make you wanna get some sun?

We have to do mock-ups of website frontpages, to show that we understand how to balance design and usability…I’ll post that this weekend, since I might do some more tweaking before it’s actually due…

In case you thought that that was my picture for the day, think again…Yesterday, I moved some of my decorations around to make room for my new posters…I don’t have strong enough sticky squares for the Peter Bjorn and John poster yet, but I was good for the Arthur & Yu poster…I also thought that the new positioning of my rock star postcards around my whiteboard could make for some borderline hilarious opportunities…

Day 56 - October 8th, 2007

Make some room, Perry!

…as for today’s picture, I saw this flying around the airspace above Temple’s Main Campus today while I was on my way to class…

Day 57 - October 9th, 2007

Tina's here, we're getting back together...

The jokes that can be made about the new TV show are so easy…well, you know…

It’s pouring…I love it…

I’ve said what I’d said and you know what I mean
But I still can’t focus on anything
