First 3 5’s

As you know by now, I asked you the reader to suggest Top 5 lists for me to fill out…while I have many to get to (and hopefully there are more to come), I present to you a few to tide you over:

Josh Pincus plays against my love of punk rock and would like to know my Top 5 favorite albums that came out before 1970

  1. Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue (1959)
  2. The Velvet Underground - White Light/White Heat (1968)
  3. The Ventures - (The) Ventures In Space (1963)
  4. The Beach Boys - Smiley Smile (1967)
  5. The Kinks - The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society (1968)

wants to know the Top 5 reasons why WXPN is awesome

  1. I’ve been listening to XPN all my life, and I often get this really cool feeling (like a “MythBusters Moment”, if you will) while I’m listening…along the lines of, “Whoa, I totally work there!”…
  2. I don’t know how I could have gone on any longer without frequent trips to the CD library…
  3. They let me be a total Y-Rock DJ
  4. The Free At Noon Concerts are the best (well, maybe not if you’re board-op’ing during it)
  5. XPN has higher ratios of Robert Drake and Matt Reilly than most other stations

Finally (for today, at least),    asks what my Top 10 favorite Disney Park Attractions are (because 5 doesn’t offer enough Disney goodness)…

  1. Haunted Mansion (DLR, even though the WDW version is longer)
  2. Pirates Of The Caribbean (DLR)
  3. The Jungle Cruise (DLR)
  4. Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror (DCA)
  5. Carrousel Of Progress (WDW)
  6. Enchanted Tiki Room (DLR)
  7. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride (DLR)
  8. Mission: SPACE (EPCOT)
  9. Rock N’ Rollercoaster (DHS)
  10. Indiana Jones Adventure (DLR)

I’ve already got many more to fill out, but feel free to suggest more and more and more!
